To Stain or Not To Stain, That is the Question
While it may be the "in" look for a wood fence to have the rustic, weathered grey look; it may take years off of the life of your fence. Adding stain/weatherproofing to your new fence will protect it from UV rays and water damage adding years of life to the fence.

Did You Know?
Stain/Weatherproofing comes in a wide variety of colors and thickness. You can choose a more transparent stain to let the natural wood grains show through or use a non-transparent stain for a more robust look.
Steel Posts
Using galvanized steel Postmaster (TM) posts along with a good stain will keep your fence looking new for decades! Most fence failures start at the base of a wood post as it rots out from ground water. Galvanized steel posts are resistant to water and won't rot out like wood posts.
